Professor Pierre-Antoine Defossez gave us a lecture.

Professor Pierre-Antoine Defossez, an expert on DNA methylation and cancer, visited us from Paris. In his laboratory, one of our graduates, Yamaguchi-kun, is working. During the seminar, Professor Defossez explained his research in an easy-to-understand manner, even for those of us who are not in that field and talked about two major discoveries, including the work of Yamaguchi-kun. After the seminar, the participants had lunch and then had a discussion with each of our laboratory members. We were especially complimented on the excellent presentations by the students!
